Jeopardy! fans might have seen Ken Jennings when he was in his 20s, but have they ever seen him as a child? He shared a rare photo of himself with his brother and sister as kids during the live Inside Jeopardy! podcast stop.

Jennings grew up in South Korea and returned to the Asian country for his first USO tour in May. There, he met with soldiers, hopeful contestants, and Jeopardy! fans. The podcast was posted on June 30, and clues related to the 85th anniversary of the USO were shown on the game show on June 29.

“This is my first time in South Korea, but it is certainly not yours, Ken,” executive producer and podcast host Sarah Whitcomb-Foss said. “You have a long history, even a connection here to Osan.”

“That’s correct,” Jennings said. “You have control of the board, Sarah.”

“I’ll take more information about South Korea, Ken, for $200,” Whitcomb-Foss joked.

“When I was 10 years old, my family moved to Korea, and my dad was a civilian, but my mom took a job on the Yongsan base for a long time. For a year, she drove down here to Osan every day. She worked at the credit union here,” Jennings said.

He shared that he drove to Osan for his second-grade teacher, who married an airman, and then came back when his mom got the job there. “But this is the first time I’m old enough to drink, so…”

While talking about the story, a photo of Ken, his brother, and sister as children popped up on the screen. The three of them sat outside and smiled for the cameras.

Jennings also revealed that while in South Korea, he played Friedrich Von Trapp in The Sound of Music. His bio for the show read, “Kenneth Jennings III (Friedrich) is a student at Seoul Foreign School. He has appeared in Scrooge! and was last seen as the young prince in The Last Invisible Dragon. He likes Jeopardy!, chocolate, computers, and dislikes going to school and peas!”

Then, a photo of him was shown in the play. His brother was Kurt, his sister was Gretl, and his mom was Maria.

Ken Jennings Jr. and Catherine Jennings had four children. Ken is the oldest. He has a brother named Nathan, as well as a sister, and a third unknown sibling. He tends to keep them out of the spotlight.
