Stephen Colbert’s Final ‘Late Show’ Guests Revealed
Turning now to a star-packed show of support for another TV host, Stephen Colbert. With just eight shows to go, we have a list of some of his final guests, and it’s a who’s who of late-night legends. Force five is the name of our podcast. I love that there’s no late-night wars. I love [music] that we all just pull for each other.

Monday, Colbert will welcome his former podcast co-hosts Seth Meyers, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and John Oliver. It’s a wonderful gift to to become dear friends with all of them. Seth was among late-night royalty grilling Stephen for The Hollywood Reporter as he prepares to sign off.
From Seth Meyers, what’s an answer a guest gave that will stay with you the longest? Keanu Reeves. I just asked him, “What do you think happens when we die?” And he said, something beautiful, actually. He said, “I know that the ones who love us will miss us.” >> [applause] >> It was one of the most watched clips we’ve ever had on YouTube.
Colbert’s predecessor, David Letterman, will also stop by, along with Pedro Pascal, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and Tom Hanks. We were exclusive with Tom’s wife, Rita, and other celebs showing support for Stephen as he was honored at THR’s Most Powerful People in Media event last night. His faith is very much uh very impressive to me.
He’s just a really good soul. I don’t know what his next chapter is, but I know his next chapter he will knock it out of the park. He cannot be off TV for a long period of time.
