The television personality has been hosting the game show since 2022, and also achieved a 74-game winning streak as a contestant in 2004. Given how Ken has experience as both a player and a host, it makes sense that he’s picked up a thing or two about how to succeed on the show.
When Ken spoke to Fox News Digital at the TCM Classic Film Festival on May 22, he had a surprisingly candid answer for how to improve your Jeopardy! game.
“I would say watching the show is the best way to prep for the show,” he told the outlet. “If you watch Jeopardy!, like the rhythm of the host’s voice will kind of get into your pulse. You’ll know the kind of stuff that comes up, the kind of material. That’s how you become a good Jeopardy! player.”
But that’s not the only way to improve. He told the publication that players should know some key categories, including the U.S. Presidents and their First Ladies, in order, he emphasized, and all of the world capitals.
“I think those are the two things that is like the most bang for your buck if you’re cramming for Jeopardy!,” he added. “[But] everybody there has passed a very hard test to be on the show. So really it comes down to who can perform under pressure because these people are not used to doing this with lights and camera and everything.”
Well, now we know what to do if we ever decide to compete!
